What is CSAT in UPSC
Civil Services Aptitude Test, CSAT is one of the two compulsory papers of UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination. This is also known as GS Paper-II of UPSC Prelims exam. It was introduced in the year 2011 to test the administrative aptitude of candidates – analytical skills, logical reasoning, comprehension, general mental ability and basic numeracy.
It must be noted that CSAT is a qualifying paper, i.e., you must get the minimum qualifying marks (of 33%) to be eligible to get shortlisted for UPSC Mains Exam.
